Human rebellion stirs God’s wrath which had led to God’s judgment. God’s judgement is not fire from heaven (like we see in the OT). Rather, it is seen in the fact that man cannot keep from sinning. He is addicted to sin. Those humans who deny God with their sin are turned over to their depravity which is sure to destroy their lives and the people around them.
Paul shares his testimony about sin before and after salvation. He delivers hope to followers of Christ. Who will rescue us from this “body of sin?” Paul declares that Jesus is the answer.
